Incompatible. PTFE is insoluble in most of the known organic solvents. For example, DMC (dimethyl carbonate, electrolyte also uses ethyl ester and mixed ester as solvent). Currently, manyChina PTFE Water Tape Manufactuers brands of raw tape on the market are not PTFE. It is prepared by other synthetic rubber processes, and the electrolyte may not be DMC but a solvent such as NMP or FEC which has a relatively high dissolving power to the polymer. If the electrolyte leaks, it is generally leaky or eroded. Please refer to it as appropriate. If a common lead-acid battery is corrosive to many rubbers because its electrolyte is 28% solid content of dilute sulfuric acid.
